Joseph Glaser is a composer and sound artist whose music ceates space for performers and audiences alike to have out-of-the-ordinary experiences. Joseph likes to interrogate the form and function of a concert setting by playing with chance/indeterminacy, injecting elements of theatre and play, and ultimately allowing a piece of music to live beyond a concept or strict set of instructions. In Joseph’s work, the fundamental blocks of a composition is not sound but the performers and their bodies emphasizing the physical nature of performing live music.
